Now, how many alliances, other then D2 that claim space were alongside D2 today? Answer. None.
Residents and D2 were all that were really involved today. And to be honest, i think we performed really well considering the numbers thrown at us.
However, if people like Iron, FLA, Sparta, MM and Razor came along, would this be the same story?
Personally i have no doubt in the force attacking the norths ability to take Fade, but the ultimate question is, can you hold it? Once everyone returns north, how long then will what i call hostiles be able to keep attacks like this up?
Collateral damage is the key here... how much damage can D2 afford to take before they throw everything back? Only time will tell!
ok.. I like your thinking...
I was up north today (it is cold there btw). and I was shocked of the numbers of defenders (low) it was a saturday, it was euro peak (our weekest time tbh) there was very galent resistance (I never entered c4c I was in another system ganking near by, well my alt was)
As things started to grind down (nothing more boring that support watching dreads do their stuff) I logged my main in back in fountian.
20-25 d2 in YZ-LQL? Shocked I was, they had a large bubble camp on the station. I couldn't understand the d2 leadership saying to their peeps, "don't bother comming back to defend the station system, you keep killing the Bobbetts (I like that better than pets tbh)".
Then I was in a roaming gang round fountain (6 of us), bumped in to 20 RA, in Fountain? It was a suprise, we lost two ships it was that much of a suprise. But there was no one in Fountain bar us, everyone (or all the main FC's PvP'er etc) were up North.
So either d2 have a cunning plan, or they are already dead (which i think is just funny, cause until the stop shooting they ain't dead to me), or they are pulling a ASCN! ASCN fell quickly was cause they started camping systems in fountain, until the devs change it the Serps will never surrender, and not worrying about defence of their home ISK making systems.
So Station ping pong starts and if there are still 30 people in core in Fountain, and we're all up North helping the alliance, my money is on the station being ours very quickly, and (as you say) Fade turns blue (or a shade of blue).
my humble and biased view point of course
